Places to go:
In San Diego, don’t miss Sea World.
In Santa Barbara, check out the dutch community.
Yosemite is a great place, whether in summer or winter.
In San Francisco, you just have to have clam chowder at the fisherman’s wharf. I recommend the “Original Clam Chowder” restaurant. They have the best ones.
If you want to go farther, Lake Tahoe in Sacramento is also a good place to visit, and you can even go as far as Reno

There is a lot of great things to do. Hiking in the White Mountains is great with different levels of difficulty.

yes there are vacation foods. another good option is to buy an Automatic Fish Feeder. when I’m going on vacation i leave small amounts of food in a sandwich bag and ask my friend/neighbour to feed my fish.

That’s not so bad…. Mine is completely freaking out…. I mean, A LOT. =( I don’t know what to do, just going about and trying to leave him tuna and treats… We did just get back tonight, but he meow-screams/hisses whenever my husband or I tries to get close to him at all, and is peeing/spraying all over the place at the same time. And it doesn’t look like he’s really eaten for the last couple of days. Aghh! 0_0
